Well, there really isn't a "perfect size", it all depends on how you want the snowboard to perform. The rule of thumb is to pick a snowboard that is going to land somewhere between your chin and nose. Expert riders tend to buy snowboards that are on the longer side, whereas beginner/intermediate are more comfortable with something closer to their chin. Or you can check out our boards sizing guide on the product page.
All Mountain boards perform anywhere on a mountain; groomed runs, backcountry, even park and pipe. All Mountain boards may be directional (meaning downhill only) or twin tips (for riding switch, meaning either direction). All Mountain boards are good for beginners who are still learning what terrain they like. Park Snowboards are light, short, flexible snowboards with twin tips that excel when grinding rails, jibbing boxes or hitting jumps, spins and tricks. They are good for riders who want to push their limits in terrain parks.
